Here is another simple recipe to try! This time we are using hotdogs, some veggies, and a simple sauce that you are probably aware of but never thought of using to make this easy Chinese Macaroni! Let’s get cooking!
3 long hotdogs (from Costco) or 6 regular hotdogs – cubed
1 medium onion – chopped
3 cloves garlic – chopped
¼ green bell pepper – chopped
¼ red bell pepper – chopped
½ cup mushrooms – sliced (I used my pre-cooked chanterelles)
½ cup broccoli – chopped
2 celery – chopped
2 green onions – chopped
3 tbsp cooking oil
Salt and pepper to taste
½ tsp pepper flakes
½ cup VH Mild Garlic Rib Sauce or more
1 ½ cup macaroni
Start by cooking the macaroni according to the instructions on the box. Then drain the water and put aside.
Heat the pan in a MEDIUM temperature. Add the oil and start sautéing the onions, celery, garlic and let it cook for 1 minute. Then add the remaining vegetables (except the green onions) and season with red pepper flakes, salt and pepper.
Now let’s put the hotdogs and let it cook for a minute, allowing it to brown a bit. Lastly, add the macaroni and mix well. That’s it!
Let it cool off. Then SERVE and ENJOY your Chinese Macaroni!
