This is got to be one of my favorite sandwiches; it’s healthy and easy to make! I like the crunch of the vegetables and the mixture of other ingredients combined together, for me it is perfect! So, are you willing to give it a try? Here goes!

Ingredients :

1 can tuna flakes in water (drained)

1  green onion

¼ red bell pepper

¼ green apple  Chia Seed

1 tsp chia seed (optional)

1 tsp lemon juice

¼ cup mayonnaise or more

Pinch of sugar

Salt & pepper to taste

Some lettuce

Bread of your choice or crackers


Put the tuna in a bowl and mix in the lemon juice, sugar, then season with salt & pepper. Add in the remaining ingredients and mix well. Let it chill for a couple of minutes.
Healthy Tuna Sandwich with Chia
Warm or toast your favorite bread, I chose a croissant. Butter your bread or not, totally up to you. Get a piece of lettuce & top it with the tuna mixture. Serve it with some crudités (raw vegetables), chips, etc. Enjoy!
