1 cup cooked rice or leftover

1 tsp garlic

½ small onion

¼ red bell pepper

¼ yellow pepper

½ small carrot

½ stalk celery

1 stalk green onion

1 tbsp soy sauce

ground black pepper to taste

fish sauce to taste (optional)

2 tbsp of cooking oil


Cooking fried rice is not that difficult to make. All you need is cooked rice and some vegetables that are already available in your fridge, like this one! CHOP ALL VEGETABLE INGREDIENTS.

Heat the oil in a medium pot or pan. Add the onion, garlic and sauté for a bit. Continue adding the remaining vegetables starting with celery, carrots and keep stirring. Then add the chopped peppers.

Incorporate the rice until it is well coated in oil. Season with ground pepper, fish sauce and soy sauce and continue stirring until it is well mixed. Top it with some chopped green onions and serve!

TIP: Sometimes I like putting some leftover meat! Just add it after cooking the vegetables just to warm the meat a little. Then add your rice. I bet you will love it even more! Try it with my Beef Fondue Stir Fry! Enjoy!
